This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web sites/applications. You should be comfortable acting as a lead developer coordinating the efforts of others on projects. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working both independently and with a larger development group.
Knowledge of all phases of website development will be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position. Candidates should be comfortable participating in and leading technical discussions with all member of the Interactive team. Good organization, communication and writing skills as essential.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
3+ years’ experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
Expert level understanding of cross-browser coding requirements
3+ years’ experience with Java, Servlets, and JSP
Experience with Struts and Tiles
Familiarity with Hibernate and/or Spring is a major plus
Eclipse experience is a plus
Apache and/or Tomcat conifguration experience
Relational database experience (mysql, MS SQL, etc)
Familiarity with version control software (CVS, VSS, etc)
Ability to work in Windows and Linux environments
Experience with PHP and/or .NET is a plus
Experience with AJAX and/or Ruby on Rails is a plus
