Our client is the leading specialized search engine and information resource for their area of expertise, with more than 2 million registered users.
We are looking for an individual with a strong search engine marketing experience to lead our top of class search engine marketing team supporting our aggressive growth. Reporting to the Director of Search Operations, this individual will manage, grow and optimize paid search engine listings across a range of search engines to maximize profit. This position is highly operational and includes activities such as a keyword analysis, creative development, campaign optimization, landing page optimization, metrics analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate should have previous search experience with a keen eye towards metrics and optimization. Experience in the industrial/technical/engineering space a plus. This person will be familiar with key word analysis techniques and software and have the ability to research and learn new search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
Primary Responsibilities:
Overall management of paid and organic campaigns
Development of paid and organic search recommendations
Identifying ongoing opportunities for campaign enhancement & overall performance
Working with IT group to implement SEO projects
Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant search engine marketing experience, including development of Search Engine Optimization and paid search strategies across the major search engines.
Strong analytical skills.
Excel proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office software.
Strong quantitative, critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment
Familiarity with Ad delivery programs
Experience in search engine marketing for large websites/portals desired
